Mount Junona - snowshoe tour

1 Meeting and departure from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk
In the morning, the group gathers in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and travels to the town of Korsakov by comfortable transport. Along the way, you can enjoy the winter scenery of Sakhalin.
2 Arrival at the starting point of the route
Upon arrival in the Prigorodnoye village, preparations for the walk are carried out: participants are given snowshoes and a brief briefing on safety and snowshoeing is given.
3 Climbing to the mount Junona
A snowshoe hike begins. Along a snow-covered trail, participants climb to the top of mount Junona, enjoying the fresh air and breathtaking winter nature. As you climb, you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding area.
4 Views from the top
At the top of the mountain, there is a magnificent panorama of Aniva bay, the Prigorodnoye port and the liquefied natural gas plant. Time for photos and a short break.
5 Lunch
After the walk, a light snack or lunch is organized to strengthen your strength.
6 Descent and return to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk
After the rest, the descent from the mountain begins, after which a return transfer to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk is carried out.
