At the foothiil of the Baransky volcano is the "Starozavodskoe" fumarole field, near the old geothermal station "Oceanskaya", there is a river "Kipyashchaya" (en. - "boiling") The mineral waters found here are weakly mineralized, sulfate-bicarbonate-chloride, sodium-calcium, strongly acidic. The water temperature is from +26 degrees to +100 degrees. This water is used in baths for the treatment of joints, diseases of the nervous peripheral system, as well as skin diseases. The river valley is almost hidden in clouds of white steam, and on the slopes there are many fumaroles and mud pots with bubbling mud. The river flows out of the tiny, but amazingly beautiful boiling lake "Golubiye Glazki" (en. - "Blue Eyes")
